Welcome, Friend!

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to check out our church's website. If you've found this page, chances are you're probably trying to find out what it's like to attend one of our services. In order to set your mind at ease, allow us a few moments to share what our church is all about.

Who Are We?

We are an independent Baptist church that upholds the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith and uses traditional music in our worship services. Our Sunday morning services typically average between 175-200 in attendance. Our members are honest and hard-working people who gather regularly both to worship the God they love and to spend time fellowshipping with other members of our friendly church family.

What to Expect?

When you first enter the building through the main doors, our greeters will accompany you to the Welcome Center where we will ask you to fill out a short visitor information card (so our pastoral staff can follow up with you later); we will also give you a small gift as a memento of your visit and do our best to answer any questions you might have.

If you have children, we will show you to our newly remodeled, spacious nursery or the appropriate children's classrooms where we provide safe childcare and age-appropriate lessons so you can receive the full benefit of our services without distractions. All of our children's workers are required to complete background screening and training prior to working with children. Finally, our greeters will lead you to the best location for you.

During Sunday services, we normally collect an offering. This is a time when church members give back to God a portion of what He has blessed them with. Of course, we don't expect you to give any money, but you may return your information card by placing it in the offering plate.

What Time?

Calvary has four service times per week that usually follow the schedule below. To avoid walking in late, we recommend that you plan to arrive a few minutes early, but if you arrive late, we are still glad to have you and someone will always be available to assist you when you walk in the lobby.

  • Sunday school: 9:45 A.M.
  • Sunday morning worship service: 10:45 A.M.
  • Sunday evening service: 6:00 P.M.
  • Wednesday night adult Bible study and prayer time: 7:00 P.M.

*Most of our services typically last around an hour, but the Sunday morning worship service normally ends a few minutes after noon.

What Should I Wear?

We do not observe a strict dress code at Calvary. Although many of our members dress up for services, you will see a wide variety of dress on any given Sunday. We are happy to have you "come as you are," and no one will judge you for your clothes because we want your relationship with God to be priority number one.
